Technology from Benidorm

Artificial intelligence for businesses and people

We build assistants and automations that look after people, keep them company and make everyday work easier.

Our areas

One parent brand, several lines of work

IA Benidorm is the parent brand. This is where we develop the technology and adapt it to each type of project: some lines are already available, while others are at pilot stage or still in development.

  • Hotels

A · Hotels

Agencia IA Benidorm, our hotel division

Agencia IA Benidorm is the IA Benidorm division that specialises in independent and family-run hotels and small hotel groups. It offers three tiers that build on each other: each one includes the previous one, and hotels can start with whichever suits them best.

The hotel decides and supervises: sensitive decisions are always made by a member of its team.

  1. IA Recepción · Luz

    Answers

Answers guests’ frequently asked questions using the hotel’s own information, and passes anything that needs a person on to the team.

  2. IA Hotel · Aurora

    Answers + manages

As well as answering, it recognises when a message is a request or an issue and helps log it so it doesn’t get lost among conversations.

  3. IA Hotel Pro · Iris

    Answers + manages + automates

Designed to automate repetitive operational tasks, within the limits the hotel sets. Connections with other tools are assessed according to each property’s systems.

B · Businesses and SMEs

Less time answering the same questions, more time for your customers

A well-prepared assistant can handle frequently asked questions, point each customer towards what they’re looking for and help organise repetitive tasks, such as collecting requests or preparing information for the team.

  • Answer frequently asked questions with your business’s own information.
  • Guide each customer and pass anything that needs a person to your team.
  • Organise requests and tasks that are currently done by hand.

Examples by sector

  • Pilot under way

    Pharmacies

A line in development, with a real pilot in a pharmacy. It focuses on handling common queries and organising day-to-day work at the counter, without replacing the pharmacist’s advice.

  • Example use

    Hairdressers and beauty salons

Answering questions about services and opening hours, and collecting appointment requests for the team to confirm.

  • Example use

    Estate agents

Handling the first questions from interested buyers or tenants and organising contacts before an agent reviews them.

  • Example use

    Shops and other businesses

Opening hours, availability, orders or recurring questions: whatever takes up time today can be organised better.

These sectors are examples of what can be explored; they do not mean a solution is already in place in each of them.

C · Voice and companionship

Conversational technology with a personal touch

We develop conversational technology and voice agents that adapt to different projects: from companionship platforms to personalised assistants and interaction experiments.

In development

Personalised conversation and companionship assistants

Voice and text assistants designed for conversation and companionship, adapted to each person and each project.

Experimental

Paco y Maya

An experimental, pet-related interaction project where we explore new ways of using conversational technology.

Conversational companionship is not healthcare or an emergency service. In an emergency, call 112.

D · R&D · Bespoke solutions

From a specific need to a useful solution

We study repetitive tasks and everyday difficulties to design assistants and automations tailored to each setting.

  1. We understand the need

We talk to you and look at how things are done today.

  2. We assess what can be automated

We separate what adds value from what is best left to people.

  3. We build and test a solution

A first version tested in real conditions, with no blind commitments.

  4. We fine-tune it to real use

We fix and improve it based on what everyday use teaches us.

Some examples of what we look at

  • Organising requests
  • Answering frequently asked questions
  • Connecting tools you already use
  • Notifications and tasks currently done by hand

Each integration is assessed case by case, depending on the tools available; we never take a connection for granted before looking into it.

E · About IA Benidorm

Useful technology, made close to home

IA Benidorm was born in Benidorm as the technology parent of our artificial intelligence projects. This is where we develop assistants, voice agents and automations, and adapt them to each line of work: hotels, small businesses, companionship and bespoke projects.

Our approach is practical: start with a real problem, build something that works and fine-tune it with the people who use it every day.

  • Useful technology. We only automate what adds value.
  • A personal approach. We speak plainly and we’re always within reach.
  • Tailored solutions. Every setting has its own way of working.
